INDIANOLA, Jan. 12.--(Special)--A NEWS correspondent called upon ex-Senator Berry yesterday afternoon regarding the Hossack murder case. Mr. Berry said he knew nothing at all about what was being done by the grand jury. He said nothing new had developed so far as he knew. He understood that several new witnesses were being examined, but knew nothing further. Deputy Sheriff Kimer was seen and he said that nothing new had developed to his knowledge. He also said a report of the grand jury was not likely before next week. He admitted it was true that a number of new witnesses were being examined who were not before the coroner's jury.
County Attorney Clammer has been closeted with the grand jury nearly all the time since it has been in session, and probably will be for some days to come.
